Super Pitches

11m² | 16A electric hook-up | Water tap & grey waste drain

We have 25 fully-serviced super pitches. This means each pitch has its own 16A electric hookup, fresh water tap and grey waste drain. Simply plumb yourself in and you're away!

  • Our pitches are a minimum of 11m2, making them very spacious. Two thirds of the pitch is hardstanding, and one third is grass.
  • Awnings must be pitched onto the hardstanding, so don't forget to bring rock pegs!
  • Some pitches are on a gentle slope so please bring levelling blocks just in case.
  • Continental/European units may be asked to pitch themselves the same way as British vans depending on how busy we are.
  • For anyone with additional needs please call in advance so we can locate you on a pitch which is close to the facilities should you need them.

Tent Pitches

Maximum 30m² | 10A electric hook-up | Car parking

We have 15 electric tent pitches, all with 10A electric hook-up. They are ample in size, but we can only accept bookings for tents with a maximum footprint of 30sqm including any gazebos or additional structures.

  • Tent pitches are located on the tent field in a circle, creating a central space which is clear of tents. This provides a friendly layout, ideal for keeping small children safe.
  • There is a separate area on the North field for ball games, so please encourage children not to play near other tents.
  • Each tent pitch has its own designated parking space which is a maximum of 40m from the pitch and is located next to the tent field itself. If you need a pitch with a parking space next to your pitch, please call in advance.
  • Tent pitches are subject to a maximum 7 night stay. Alternatively you can book onto one of our superpitches and pitch onto the hardstanding if you want to stay longer than this.

Toilets Showers

Toilets & Showers

Our toilet and shower facilities are our piste resistance. They are underfloor-heated for toasty toes, the showers and taps do not operate on a push-button basis, and the hot water is supplied by a biomass boiler with a 5000L capacity meaning that you'll never be short of hot water. They are finished with the highest quality and cleaned meticulously, they are a firm favourite with our regulars.
Additional Needs Baby

Additional Needs & Baby

A large wet room area has been designed primarily for guests with restricted mobility but we also allow families with small children to use this too. We have baby changing facilities, a toilet and wash basin designed for people with restricted mobility, a shower and a hand towel dispenser in this space. This room is accessed using a code, please ask for the code at Reception on arrival.
Reception and Shop

Shop

We have a small on-site shop which is located at Reception. In here we sell local sausages, bacon and burgers as well as various condiments, confectionary, beverages, camping supplies and more. We also have our own brand of reed diffusers which smell amazing and are locally manufactured. We have more merchandise to come...
Fire Pit at Hartington Hills

Fire-Pits & BBQs

We are a fire-pit and BBQ friendly site. You can hire fire pits from the on-site shop, and firewood, kindling, firelighters and barbecues can be purchased as well. We ask that the fire pits be used on hardstanding where possible, and that a heat protector mat be hired from the shop if you are on a grass pitch. S'mores here we come!
Children Playing in the Field

Recreation

We have a mown area on our North field which is perfect for ball games and for children to play. In this area we have picnic bench seating so adults can enjoy amazing views and sunsets whilst keeping an eye as children play. We also have 4 beautiful mini-shetland ponies that the children love to say hello to, as well as a family of free-range hens.
EV chargers

EV chargers

New for 2025: we have installed 2 brand new EV chargers at the front of the site. We do not allow EV charging at the pitch, but the two new chargers we have installed are available for anyone to use and provide an important facility, especially considering our rural location where access to charging points can be limited.
Recycling

Recycling

We have a well thought-out recycling system with glass, plastic, metal and cardboard separation. We also have general waste bins. In the recycling area you will also find a chemical waste disposal, or elsan point with a hand sanitiser dispenser. Proper recycling is important to us and reflects our commitment to sustainable practices.
Pot Washing

Pot Washing

3 indoor pot washing basins, a coin-operated washing machine, a coin-operated tumble dryer and a freezer for ice packs are provided, as well as an iron and ironing board on request. A further washing up basin is available directly outside this area which is also suitable for people with restricted mobility as there is room underneath for a wheelchair. The pot washing area is underfloor-heated.

Frequently asked questions

Still got a question? Not a problem, we’re here to help you every step of the way.

How far in advance can I reserve my date?

You can reserve your date as far in advance as you like. If your desired dates aren't available to book online, then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. We can enter your booking into the system manually and give you pricing information.

How much is the deposit?

For touring & camping, a 15% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 4 weeks before arrival.

Are there noise restrictions?

Yes, there are. We ask that if music is played, it doesn't disturb your neighbours - not everybody has the same taste in music!

10pm is quiet time on the campsite so we expect music to be switched off and conversations be kept to a minimum volume. We rarely get noise complaints, but when we do, we act on them. Peace and tranquility is our ethos and we ask that you respect that.

What is the arrival time?

The arrival time is 2pm onwards for touring and camping bookings; this is different for cottage and glamping bookings.

What is the departure time?
